My full name is Jordan Robert Vinson Spencer.

According to the vast majority of people I meet, this apparently peculiar attribute is shockingly distinctive, for two reasons. First, some equate the existence of my second middle name to that of some distant, twice-removed relative of Scandinavian royalty. Or, something similar to a man with six fingers on one hand. Only then does it blow their mind that all four are essentially first names. Which, I admit is pretty absurd.

And in case you're wondering, no, I don't introduce myself with all four names. That would be weird.

I'm currently a Senior Copywriter at The Infinite Agency in Dallas, TX. Other than the professional growth I've experienced in my busy career, there are some things I've learned about myself. Such as, I am a copywriter by trade, but my true passion comes from the ability to develop conceptual solutions to brand problems. Writing simply happens to be the creative vehicle that allows me to chase that rabbit. I believe 'good' creative is arbitrary without being grounded in a balance between human truths and insightful strategy. And finally, that learning to be a successful professional in the ad industry comes with the experience of various peaks and valleys, without losing sight of what you love in life.

For me, copywriting is a career, and possibly the only one I would consider. But that's not to say writing is where I find purpose. I'm a sports fanatic, both a competitor and a die-hard supporter. I'm a gamer, a traveler, and a consumer, mainly of indulgent, savory cuisine and quality television. I'd rather be at a concert than practically anywhere else in my free time. And, when it comes to priorities, family, my beautiful wife Helena, and our puppy Peruna always come first.
